Letter, dated 24 February, 1842, from Henry Boys, Bursar of King's College, to Richard Birdsall of Belleville, surveyor to the Canada Company and surveyor of the land on which King's College was built, requesting him not to seize the timber on Lot No. 18 in the 14th concession of Seymour Township, which the College had sold to E.D.S. Wilkins.
Research data and laboratory reports for studies of immune proteins, carried out by students under Dr. George Connell's supervision between 1967 and 1977, with later data appended.

B1998-0009: Correspondence and memorabilia belonging to H.A. Clark (B.A. 1895) including a letter he wrote to the editor of the Toronto Telegram discussing the role of W.L.M. King in the student strike of 1895. There is also correspondence relating to a fund raising drive by the Class of 1895 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Class. Memorabilia includes programs for various dinners including the University Centenary Dinner in 1927.

The collection consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings on child immigration to Canada as well as other miscellaneous items related to Kelso's work in social work. It also includes a typescript copy of Kelso's biography.

The collection consists of correspondence and accounts relating to Keppie's work as manager of several American Theatres and the Uptown Theatre, Toronto (Vaughan Glaser Players) and the Empire Theatre (Theatre Guild of Canada). It also contains photographs and mimeographed and typed playscripts, including two by John Coulter and one by Wilson MacDonald.
The collection consists of letters from William Kingsford to James Bain, Librarian of the Toronto Public Library, discussing matters arising out of Kingsford's researches into Canadian history and early Canadian printing. It also includes two letters from Douglas Brymmer addressed to Bain.

The collection consists of letters and documents relating to the construction of a canal from the river Rhone at Donzere to the river Aigue near Rochegude.
The collection consists of anatomical drawings by Ross. The majority of the drawings represent a complete dissection of the human neck and torso, including all major organs. Their value lies in their artistic merit, and in the unique record they provide of the teaching methods of Max Brodel, one of the pioneers of medical illustration.

The collection consists of a small group of documents and letters by or about Rousseau, the bulk of which are notes on the history of women taken by Rousseau from a variety of books. He appears to have compiled these notes acting as secretary to Louise Marie Madelaine (Fontaine) Dupin, who had hoped to write a book on the history of women (the work was never completed).
Consists of minute books, membership lists, financial records, final typescripts of lectures, correspondence, committee minutes and reports, scrapbooks, clippings and printed materials.
Royal Canadian Institute
The collection consists of letters from Thoreau MacDonald to Schaefer, as well as a large collection of Christmas and occassional cards, several of which are originals, original lino-cuts, printer's proofs of lino-cuts and pen drawings, and other printed material and clippings. The letters describe their work and contain running commentary on the art scene of the period.
The collection consists of research materials for Schneid's unpublished book on 20th century Jewish artists in Europe, manuscripts for his published and unpublished works, and galleys for his published writings. The research materials include correspondence with more than 120 Jewish artists, copies of their exhibition catalogues, and other published works, and photographs of their art. Most of these artists perished during the Second World War.
The collection consists of originals and copies of correspondence, proposals for productions, investors' agreements, contracts between the producers and the theatres as well as between the producers and actors; scripts, financial statements (including expenses, revenues, pre-production and production budgets, balance sheets); investors' kits, publicity, production and casting notes, programmes, flyers, newspaper and magazine reviews, resumes and photographs of actors, directors, choreographers and technical crews; videocassettes of some of the productions and a few properties.
The collection also contains the papers (contracts, proposals, financial statements, correspondence, notes, scripts, reviews of past productions, publicity and productions notes) of unrealized project possibilities.
Schwarz, Ernest J.
Collection of lecture notes and miscellaneous material relating to the philosophy of Sankara, a seventh century Hindu philospher. The lectures were delivered by Miss B.S.A. de Branconiere, also identified as 'Guru Sahasrara Satchitananda,' to the student members of the Oriental Literature Society of California. She is described as "an accredited Messenger from the Sankaracharya School of Philosophy, France." The collection also contains an Esoteric Dictionary which was compiled by Mary Elizabeth Gilmore in the mid-1950s. The Dictionary contains definitions of philosophical and literary terms drawn from the lectures. It appears Gilmore gathered and arranged the lectures in their present form sometime in the mid-1930s.

Collection of six drawings in pencil, signed, by Goodall that were commissioned by the Illustrated London News for its series on famous Canadian universities and schools, including the University of Toronto. His drawings appeared in the May 6, 1961 issue.

This collection of papers from the famed Toronto bookseller includes administrative records from his shop Village Books, including invoices, correspondence, book lists, as well as individual files related to the running of the store and the publishing arm of Village Books. It also contains material related to Ahvenus’ work as an appraiser, correspondence with various Canadian authors, a travel diary from 1993-94, and books, many of them signed and inscribed by the authors.
The papers contain his diaries with field notes, scrapbooks, photographs, correspondence, drafts of articles, notes, minutes of meetings for organizations of which he was an officer, and printed materials including newspaper clippings of columns written by other naturalists but collected by Allin. Included in the correspondence are letters from J. L. Baillie whose papers are also in the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library.

Barnett, John M.
Collection of papers from Gerry Bennett (1921-1999), ornithologist and author. He wrote and published the journal Birdfinding in Canada (1981-1989) and at least three books on birdwatching and birdwatchers. The papers consist of: GB's typed journals recording his bird sightings and other observations of natural history from the 1950s to 1998; his correspondence with naturalists from the late 1970s to 1990s; his research notes and files on ornithological topics, including bird records and lists for a variety of locations, and the newsletters from a number of ornithological organizations; drafts and typescripts of some of his writings.
