Because of a typo, the travellers using trains were told not to step out of the train when it was completely stopped (while it should have read, when it was not completely stopped). The typo was rectified eleven years after the first publication. LeBlond suggests that Deffoux could use this information for an amusing few lines in L’Oeuvre.

Peycelon lists LeBlond’s accomplishments as Secrétaire général de l’administration des Journaux officiels, since 1919. In addition, LeBlond is a distinguished man of letters.

Bill for Redistribution of Seats and Proportional Representation

File consists of two documents produced by the Proportional Representation Society: 'Report for the Year May, 1927 - April, 1928: The Next Step after Equal Franchise,' and the May 1920 issue (volume 10, number 36) of the Journal of the Proportional Representation Society. File also includes a copy of a bill to amend the law with respect to the House of Commons method of voting and the redistribution of seats, and a document entitled 'Points on Registration Work: Imperial Parliamentary Franchise (Man or Woman).'

Actor René Maupré (René de Chauffour)

-Press clippings (221 pages) following the career of actor René Maupré – clippings ranging from 1904-1930 approx. (many clippings are not dated) – some clippings with photographs – great variety of important French newspapers: L’Humanité, Le Matin, La Petite République, L’Aurore, Le Monde illustré, Le Figaro, etc. – clippings about the Théâtre Antoine (Maupré was one of its stars) – some playbills from the Théâtre Antoine – some clippings from American and English newspapers (from p. 145) and some from Italian newspapers (p. 192 sq.) – a very interesting article by Maupré himself (1920?) on the future of cinema as a new art for the “masses” (p. 177).

Manuscripts of poetry

Sub-series consists of four typescripts of a total of fourteen poems presumed to be Watson's. There is no surviving documentation of Watson's only published poem "The Barren Lands", (her name misspelled as "Theila Martin Doherty"), published in The Canadian Forum XV : 169 (October 1934): 20.

Manuscript of nine poems

  • File consists of nine typed poems, including "The osprey", "Bird's words", "Sometimes between light and light", "The sacrifice", "O superbia initium sumpsit omnis perditio", "I have seen what Moses saw", and "In wyntter quan pe frost hym fres...", and two untitled poems begining "And he came
  • out of the tomb..." and "He stood in the mountains
  • saying :...". The typescript has been signed "S.M. Watson".

Manuscript of three poems

File consists of a typescript of three poems, "Heuros has a nightmare", "Heuros makes a decision" and "If I were Resoun & not nature". These poems are presumed to be by Watson as they contain no annotations, nor are they signed.
