Fonds consists of material documenting the professional and personal life of Prof. Tuppil Venkatacharya. Records cover his collection and research of Sanskrit literature through correspondence, typescripts, annotated texts, translations and transliterations, and recordings of some of his academic presentations. Also included in the material is documentation of the community Sanskrit classes taught by the scholar (Series 10) as well as his and his wife’s, Vijaya Venkatacharya’s, involvement in Toronto’s South Asian community. Fonds also includes family correspondence and some biographical material regarding Venkatacharya’s education and positions held at the University of Toronto and other institutions. B2000-0028: The records document the Women's Auxiliary of the University Settlement. The Women's Auxiliary was established in 1920, ten years after the creation of the University Settlement. The records in this accession consists of histories of the Women's auxiliary, its constitution, lists of members, correspondence and minutes from their committee meetings. Files also document the University Settlement Board meetings, the Camp Boulderwood initiative, and literature distributed by the University Settlement itself. Also includes a photograph of Marilyn MacDonald, president of the Women's Auxiliary University Settlement accepting the Annual Commnunity Leadership Award on behald of the auxiliary.

These records pertain to the educational and professional life of N.J. Turnbull. They consist primarily of material related to N.J. Turnbull’s time as a student at the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Toronto, including class notes and assignments. There are also materials generated as a result of employment—both as a summer student during his university studies as well as following his graduation—which consists primarily of field notes and reports. There are also several photographs that pertain to N.J. Turnbull's career, including 432 photographs of the Royal Commission on Forestry relating to Newfoundland and Labrador in 1954.
Also included in these records are a collection of logging reports produced by John Fulton Turnbull, N.J. Turnbull's father. These reports relate predominantly to J.F. Turnbull’s position of District Forester of the North Bay Ontario Forestry Branch and the Annual Reports generated as a result.

Fonds consists of the professional and personal records of Prof. A.P. Thornton, historian and former Chair of the UofT’s Department of History. Records document some of his publishing activity, academic work presenting and teaching, as well as aspects of his personal life including creative writing and family history. While Prof. Thornton’s administrative role at the University is not significantly reflected in the records, the material contains documentation of the professor’s work with the Presidential Advisory Board in the mid-1980’s related to divestment in South Africa. Other records include family photographs, correspondence, and genealogical research.
