Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given by Joe Egan and Robert Larouche at the annual weekend for l'Arche Daybreak assistants in September 1985.

Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: In North America the oppression is more discrete than in Haiti. The suffering is more hidden. But many people are trying to live gospel values. L'Arche is part of this thirst for something new. A discovery that our society and its materialism is not fulfilling.

Part 1 - Robert Larouche

Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given by Joe Egan and Robert Larouche at the annual weekend for l'Arche Daybreak assistants in September 1985.

Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: This is a time together to deepen what we are called to live as L'Arche. The text for today from St. Paul says "we urge to make more progress in the life you are meant to live." We are entering anew year now. We want to make progress ourselves at Daybreak in may domains which you have identified as priorities through prayer.

March 31, 1986. Conference #1. Robert Larouche (in French) and George Strohmeyer (in English)

Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk by George Strohmeyer and Robert Larouche at a Zone Assistant Retreat from March 31 - April 5, 1986, in Orangeville, ON.

Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: This retreat is a privileged time, an unique occasion to reflect in what we live everyday in our homes and communities and to deepen. Ask you to take advantage of this time as it goes fast. I feel small in my job to try to speak about the truth of L'Arche & the truth of Jesus in the poor. It helps to do this with Fr. George. So much is given to us everyday at L'Arche.
