This small accession consists of both personal family papers documenting the Meek family as well as a small amount of professional records documenting T.J. Meek’s career. Professional records include some articles, correspondence, clippings, reviews of his work, memorabilia, and photographs. Family papers include early ancestral photographs as well snapshots, correspondence, family documents and memorabilia.

Course notes taken by Professor James Playfair McMurrich of lectures in geology and mineralogy given by Professor Edward John Chapman (1876-1877); travel journals kept by his daughter, Kathleen Isabel McMurrich (West Indies, 1915-1916; Italy, 1922; United Kingdom, 1935; and northern USA and Canada, 1939), and her notebooks on neuro-anatomy and physiology (1943-1949).

Photographs and postcards document Kathleen McMurrich's travels to the West Indies and McMurrich family travels across the United States and Canada (1915-1946, predominantly 1938-1939).

Clippings and memorabilia document the Varsity Women's Hockey Team who, in 1925 won both the Ontario Ladies Hockey Championship and the Dominion title. Thora McIlroy played defence on the team.

Records also include photographs of Dr. McCullough and other individuals.

Clippings, diplomas, awards and photographs document 1939 B.A.Sc graduate Mackenzie McMurray. McMurray, who also graduated with an Masters in Commerce in 1954 became president of Dominion Bridge Company. Included in this accession are thirteen photographs taken by McMurray while a part of the Hart House Camera Club in the late 1930s. These photographs, some of which won awards, were exhibited as part of the Annual Camera Club Exhibition at Hart House 1935 - 1940. There is also a graduating composite for the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, 1939.

Records document Elisabeth Marani’s contribution to the production of “Miss Julie” by the U.C. Players Guild in October 1954 and “Brigadoon” by University College and St. Michael’s College in 1955. Records relating to “Miss Julie” include original costume sketches, preliminary designs for sets and props as well as a one page recollection written by Elisabeth Bacque (nee Marani). Records relating to “Brigadoon” include researched sketches for costumes, a program and clippings. Finally this donation also includes sketched designs for a U.C. Follies production.

Black and white topographical drawing by Francis Grant Marriot (BASc. 1905) which would have been produced as part of his course work as a student of the School of Practical Science.

Collection by John Mappin, documenting the life of Joseph E. McDougall and The Goblin. Includes biographical material as well as correspondence, clippings, manuscripts and typescripts documenting the career of Joseph E. McDougall, a Canadian humorist; examples of sketches by Richard Taylor who also worked on the Goblin, including an original sketch of the Goblin's editorial offices; clippings and articles about the Goblin, including one original poster from 1926.

Documents belonging to Merwin Malcolm who was the project manager for Stone Webster, the company hired to construct Robarts Library. Records relate to the design and building of Robarts Library and include progress photos, design photos and drawings, correspondence, reports and plans.

Announcement of and tape recording with transcript of a lecture "The Impact of Acid Precipitation on Ecosystems in Eastern North America" by Prof. G.E. Likens of Cornell University, and delivered on 26.11.1979. It is the first of a series sponsored by the U. of T. School of Graduate Studies Alumni Association during the 1979-1980 sessions. Included is an announcement of a NATO conference series of publications on ecology published by Plenum Publishing Corporation and making reference to Prof. Likens work.

B1979-0006: Diaries, mementos, photograph of A.D.LePan, superintendent of Buildings and Grounds at the University of Toronto from 1919 to 1956 (7 boxes).

B1980-0032: Certificate presented to Arthur D'Orr LePan, Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, University of Toronto, at a dinner held in his honour in the Great Hall of Hart House on 2 February 1931, with signatures of the attendees and a copy of the menu, all mounted in a mahogany case. The certificate was designed by J. E. H. Macdonald and measures 53 cm x 35 cm. The dimensions of the case are 70 cm. x 49 cm.

• B2012-0024: Four digital files (PDF) of typed extracts from the personal diary Professor Latta began keeping in Dec. 1965, relating to the Department of German at Trinity College, the Combined Departments of German, and, as of July 1, 1975, the university German Department. No. 1 contains entries dating from November 1966 to December 1988; No. 2 runs from January 1989 to December 1995; No. 3 covers from January 1996 through December 1998; and No. 4 is January 1999 to December 2005.

• B2019-0016: Research files, drafts of articles (published in 1987 and 1993), and lectures, relating to the reception of Thomas Mann's novella Die Betrogene [in English: The Black Swan]. Accession also includes teaching and course files on German language and literature (GER 202, 204Y, 220, 422, 434S, 435S) that Professor Latta taught at the University of Toronto. [1 box, 1966-2000]

Correspondence relating to mathematics, lectures and trips that was received by Cecilia Krieger, lecturer in Mathematics and Physics. Krieger was the first woman to receive her Doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Toronto in 1930. Much of the correspondence is in polish and is from Waclaw Sierpinski, the Polish mathematician whose work she translated for her doctorate.
