The collection is comprised of menus from around the world featuring a variety of cuisines including Afghan, American, Argentinian, Armenian, Asian, Bangladeshi, Brazilian, Burmese, Cambodian, Caribbean, Chinese (Peking, Szechuan, Shanghai, Yunnan, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hunan and Jiangnan), Colombian, Cuban, Dutch, Ecuadorian, Egyptian, European, Filipino, Finnish, French, Hong Kong style, Indian, Indochinese, Indonesian, Islamic, Israeli, Italian, Jamaican, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Latin American, Lebanese, Malaysian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Mongolian, Moroccan, Mughlai, Nepalese, Pakistani, Pan-Asian, Peruvian, Russian, Scandinavian, Singaporean, Southwestern, Spanish, Taiwanese, Thai, Tibetan, Turkish, Venezuelan, Vietnamese, seafood and vegetarian.

Menus types included placemat menus, single sheet menus, trifold and four fold menus, five fold, seven fold and menus in booklet style. Some menus are laminated while others are in vinyl enclosures. Menus range from take away and delivery, to eat in and include wine lists, menus for cafes, breakfast menus and menus for cafeteria lunches.

The material is divided into Series 1 Menus. The series is divided into 6 subseries: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America.

Argonne Inn business card

Business card with miniature menu and mileage list of other attractions in the area. Restaurant was in Alexandria Bay, New York.

File contains annotated newspaper clippings, a flier from Book World and several pages of typed notes concerning political prisoners in Portugal and Amnesty International conference.

File contains clippings and some annotations, primarily concerning artists, film and music performances and critical reception of arts and cultural production from Soviet and other Communist countries.

Tactics - Doukhobor

File is comprised of newspaper clippings and articles, some of which have been pasted on paper and annotated, concerning the Doukhobor religious sect.

Tactics - New Canadians

File contains printed reports and circulars, annotated newspaper clippings, handwritten and typed notes concerning immigrant communities and espionage in Canada within Soviet and European émigré populations, including reports on the Czech, Finnish and Hungarian communities in Canada.

Tactics - Indians

File contains annotated newspaper clippings, brief typed report on book store visit and photocopied articles concerning First Nations and labour activism in North America.

File is comprised of clippings, a flier, handwritten and typed notes and some annotations concerning Communist activities in China.

File contains annotated newspaper clippings concerning Canadian Jewish organizations, Soviet-Jewish issues and anti-Semitism. Includes some typed notes.

Tactics - Campaigns, Peace Campaign Sub. File #B - Vietnam

File is comprised of newspaper clippings and reports, some of which have been pasted on paper. Contents have been annotated and organized according to subject based classification scheme and include articles on various peace campaigns and groups, primarily concerning opposition to the Vietnam War and student protests. Among the annotations are a number of longer reports on particular events, publications and programmes.

Tactics - L.P. Camps

Includes a small number of programmes and other ephemera including a copy of the Soviet News Bulletin no. 119 (1,832) (25 July 1962). Contents heavily annotated throughout.

Tactics - Education

File contains articles, fliers and newspaper clippings as well as several typed notes and reports. Among reports is an extensive typed report on Dialogue '67 graduate student conference held at The University of Western Ontario, which includes extensive notes on various speakers.
