File consists of an interview with Francis Martin interviewed by Errol Stein (location unknown). Martin is a social worker living in Toronto, ON. Martin met Nouwen through Nathan Ball and subsequently developed a friendship with him. Martin recalls traveling to Algonquin Park (Algonquin Park, ON) with Nouwen and Nouwen's relationship with Nathan Ball. Themes present in Martin's interview include loneliness, Mennonite culture, the mother figure, the father figure, siblings, music, Nouwen as celebrity, Nouwen's grave and brokenness.
