Scope and content
Series consists of material documenting the career and research of Isobel Robinson, occupational therapist, professor and Director of the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. Material includes both biographical content, including curricula vitae, awards, and transcript of an oral history interview, as well as records covering her historical research and work for the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Following her retirement, Isobel Robinson was appointed as the first archivist of the CAOT. Records in this section reflect her interest in both the history of occupational therapy in general as well as her knowledge of the development of professional organizations in the field and include the text of a eulogy given by Prof. Friedland.
