Biographical history
John Holloway Fox (1903-1998) was born in Toronto and graduated from the U of T with a Bachelor of Applied Science in mechanical engineering in 1927. For most of his career he worked for Honeywell Controls (1935-1970) eventually becoming Vice-president of Merchandising. During WWII Fox serviced with the royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, retiring with rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was awarded an OBE for his service. During careers was active in professional associations such as Association of Professional Engineers and American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers.

These records were originally donated to the Archives of Ontario in 1998 by the Estate of John H. Fox. Deaccessioned by the Archives of Ontario and transferred to UTARMS
