        Gary Kulesha, composer, was born in Toronto, Ontario August 22, 1954. He joined the University of Toronto Faculty of Music in 1993 as conductor of the Contemporary Music Ensemble, and in 1995 as an instructor in theory and composition. In 2002, he was named Theory and Composition Department coordinator in 2002.
