This series consists of records pertaining to the 35th G8 Summit, which took place in L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy from July 8 to July 10, 2008. Records in this series include major summit documents, minor summit documents, official documents of member countries, and records issued by non-member civil-society groups. Also included in this series are newspaper clippings pertaining to the summit and political issues. This series also includes the work of the G7/G8 Research Group, including papers, conference agendas and participants lists, research notes, and transcripts of speeches and panel discussions. Finally, this series also includes promotional DVDs and CD-ROMs collected at the summit, as well as promotional items from the summit.
