Scope and content

File consists of a bound volume of handwritten lecture notes, typed lecture summary notes and typed and photocopied handouts. In addition to a syllabus, class list and bibliography, the volume contains typed lecture summary notes that are only slightly modified from the Harvard lectures. The handwritten lecture notes contained in this bound volume, however, appear to be the original outlines Nouwen used during his lecturing.
A number of items were filed loosely into this bound volume. They are:

  • 4 pages of photocopied excerpts from Nouwen's Genesee Diary
  • 4 copies of 'Loving the Enemy' Scripture References
  • 1 sheet of handwritten scriptural quotes from the Gospel of Luke by Nouwen
  • a three page computer print-out dated October 29, 1985 [blank]
