File consists of a bound volume of typed and handwritten lecture notes and typed and photocopied handouts (including a syllabus and class list) relating to a seminar on Education and Community co-lectured by Nouwen and John Mogabgab during the fall semester of 1978. The typed and annotated lecture notes by Nouwen are 13 pages in total. The bulk of the bound volume includes the reflective writings of the seminar's participants, namely David Lamarre-Vincent, Jeff Merkel, John Mogabgab, George Noonan, Parker Palmer, Brew Riverson, Kathy Schell, Rebecca Skillern, Guss Succop, Loretta Sullivan, Bruce Sylvester, Larry Welborn, and of course, Nouwen himself.
