Ritsema hopes Zuckerkandl’s wife [Marianne] is well after an accident and subsequent operation she required. Ritsema writes about upcoming plans at Ascona and continuing improvements at Casa Gabriella. He is sorry Zuckerkandl and his wife will not be staying at Casa Gabriella but leaves the invitation open for a future opportunity. Ritsema and his wife [Catherine Gris] have brought in a grand piano and are considering bringing Gris’s piano as well. Ritsema hopes to see Zuckerkandl at Ascona soon.
