File consists of three letters from Hans Kruitwagen of The Ansgar Charitable Foundation, a Christmas card from the board and staff of Stiching Benevolentia, a copy of a typed letter of response from Connie Ellis, Nouwen's administrative assistant, and a copy of a long, typed letter from Nouwen. File also includes about 40 pages of graphs from the European and North American Value Study done in 1981 and 1990, and a copy of a paper by D.G. Barker entitled "Changing Social Values in Europe" about this study.
