Redrado, O.H., Il Segretario, on behalf of the Pontificio Della Pastorale Per Gli Operatori Sanitarai (Vatican City) [Pontifical Council for Pastoral of Health Care Workers], inviting Nouwen to speak at the Pontifical Council's Eleventh International Conference in Vatican City from November 28-30, 1996. The theme of the conference would be "In the Image and Likeness of God: Always? - Disturbances of the Human Mind." They would like Nouwen to speak on the topic "The Mentally Ill and Spiritual Life." Letter from March 6, 1996 is the initial invitation and includes a fax copy of the letter. Letter from March 13, 1996, asks Nouwen to reply as soon as possible.
