Biographical history

Miguel de Unamuno y Jugo, born in 1864, was a Spanish author, philosopher and educator, whose essays had great influence in early 20th-century Spain. He was one of the foremost representatives of the movement Generation '98. He died in 1936.

The collection consists of xerox copies of newspaper articles by Unamuno and of correspondence received by him. Also included are indexes and inventories of the materials, prepared by the National Archives of Spain and Professor M.J. Valdes.
