Scope and content

This series consists of notes and research on various medical ailments such as knee and hip injuries but also various fractures, diseases and medical deformities. The notes and research also contain procedures to be conducted on patients, largely from MacIntosh’s early medical career. Many of the records are handwritten, and contain annotated manuscripts and publications, and likely served as reference files for MacIntosh’s day-to-day practice.
