The series consists of Professor Slater’s personal and biographical records. The vast majority of this series is comprised of press clippings he collected on major philosophers, colleagues and other prominent thinkers. A small amount of material is related to honors and awards he received during his career, and other activities such as research into his family history he conducted for the creation of his family tree and the drafting of an obituary for Will Crichton.
The material is arranged into three sections; career-related records, clippings alphabetically by person, then the remaining material chronologically.
