Biographical history
Rein Raimet was born in Tallinn, Estonia, on Jan. 31, 1935, and emigrated with his family to Canada in 1950. He attended North Toronto C.I. and studied architecture at the University of Toronto. He spent most of his working years in Vancouver with the architectural firm of Arthur Erikson, before partnering with Bain, Burroughs, Hanse and Raimet. In later years he lived in Toronto. Raimet died Feb. 22. 2008.
