System of arrangement
Dr. Roots arranged the material according to subject (goldfish, optic nerve, earthworm, fixation of lipids, multiple sclerosis, rat myelination, neuron-glia separation, electron microscopy, optic tectum, light and heavy myelin, oligochaete collections), however some files are labelled with the name of her graduate students. Desk drawer files are arranged chronologically at the end of the subseries.
