        Pierre (Julien Arnold) Souvairan, piano, was born in Montreux, Switzerland on July 30, 1911 and died in Evolène, Switzerland March 28, 2000. He joined the University of Toronto Faculty of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto in 1953 and retired in 1978 (continuing to teach part time).
