    Series consists of several subseries which include records from Cobourg: One subseries contains Registers, Directories, Marks, 1837-1946. The remaining subseries consist of student record cards. These cards often contain a photo of the student.

    Student cards are arranged alphabetically and are grouped into year ranges that correspond to the student's first year (not the graduation year). For example, a student who started in 1991 can be found in the boxes that correspond with 1945-1992.

        Many of the registers are available on microfilm and have been scanned. See file level descriptions.

        Restrictions on access

        Student records in subseries 1 are restricted for one hundred years beyond the creation of the record.
        Student cards in the remaining subseries are restricted until thirty years after the death of the student.

        Paper student cards are no longer being created. As of 2009, the permanent student record is held in a database. Please contact the Registrar's Office for records from 2009 to present.
