File consists of drafts and correspondence regarding a paper, "Tune-books and hymnals in Canada, 1801-1939," that John Beckwith wrote for the American Music journal (1988). The article received the Richard S. Hill Award from the Music Library Association in 1990. File also includes an earlier version of the article, "Protestant hymnbooks of 19th-century Canada," that Beckwith gave at the University College Symposium (January 21, 1981).
