Scope and content

This subseries consists of course material for POL2100 Political Parties and Political Change. Clarkson taught this course in 1974-1975, and between 1979 and 1981. In 1979-1980, the course title was changed to POL2100 Government of Canada. As the core course in Canadian government, politics, and public administration, it aimed at providing an overview in the area at an advanced level. Records include lecture notes, course outlines, examination templates, and correspondence, including correspondence specifically relating to teaching assistantships for the course. Also included is material from the course when taught by Professor Freda Hawkins in 1975-1976. Clarkson was in charge of correcting take-home examinations from Section C on Political Parties for Professor Hawkins.
