        John James (Jack) Fluke (1892-1963) was born in Montreal. He worked as an electro plater. He enlisted in the Canadian armed forces on 27 November 1915. He served as a private in the 7th Battalion. He was injured in battle on 14 April 1917, after he recovered, he was assigned to base duty, and eventually returned to Canada in Nov. 1917.

        William James Bell (1874-1943) was born in Forest, Ontario. He enlisted in the Canadian armed forces on 3 May 1915, where he served as a Bandsman in the 56th Battalion of the Calgary Highlanders
