Sub-series contains material related to Davis’ work with the Canadian Mathematical Society’s Committee on Human Rights, for which he served as Committee Chair for a period around 1994. File contents cover campaigns for individuals or groups who are facing persecution, in addition to some internal policy development for the Society’s ethical guidelines. This work included statements on social responsibility. Individuals represented within this documentation include Lee Lorch, Israel Halperin, J.R. Choksi, along with many others.
