        History

        Dr. Charlebois worked as an Anaesthetist and respiratory specialist at Scarborough General Hospital before beginning a family practice. He lived in Penetang, Ontario after his retirement. His research focused on the history of the Northwest Rebellion of 1885, and especially Louis Riel and other Metis participants. His great uncle was hung by the soldiers at Battleford, Saskatchewan in 1885. This collection is named in honour of Dr. Charlebois' great uncle and father.
