The Earth Spirit Festival was held July 5-7, 1991 and then July 9-11 1993, both at Harbourfront Center. The festival began as a celebration of cultural heritage between Japanese Canadians and Indigenous peoples, but later grew to include Ainu and Chinese Canadians.
