Files for his graduate studies at MIT include a file documenting his application, marks, fellowship awards (including the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship) as well class notes with Professors Rostow and Domar. Also included is a research paper entitled “A survey of agriculture and economic development in Hungary 1867-1913” (1962) which became the basis of his 1967 PhD thesis The role of agriculture in the economic development of Hungary, 1867-1913, a copy of which is also included in this series.
