This series consists of records pertaining to the 34th G8 Summit, which took place in the town of Tokayo, in Hokkaido, Japan from July 7 to July 9, 2008. Records in this series include major summit documents, minor summit documents, official documents of member countries, and records issued by non-member civil-society groups. Also included in this series are newspaper clippings and magazines pertaining to the Summit, as well as press releases, reports and video recordings by the G7/G8 Research Group. This series also includes promotional DVDs and CD-ROMs collected at the summit, as well as audio recordings of the Canada Summit Forum in Tokyo. Finally, this series includes items collected from the Hokkaido-Tokayo summit.
