History
Cecil Lam was born Cho Yiu Lam in Hong Kong, on December 16, 1957. He was a grandson of Hong Kong magnate Lam Hau Tak, founder of the famous Lam Yuen Fong Watch Company.
Cecil attended the University of Toronto, earning a PhD in Philosophy. He was a philosopher, devout Christian, artist, musician, and published poet and member of the League of Canadian Poets.
He died in 2021.
