This series of diaries, notebooks, and miscellaneous records reflects the breadth of MC’s activities and interests. Included are religious teachings, poems, musings, and other materials such as certificates and diplomas, family genealogy, pamphlets and knitting instructions. There are newspaper and article clippings on various matters including Mabel Cartwright’s resignation as principal of St. Hilda's. Some of Miss Cartwright’s professional activities, such as her involvement with the Women’s Auxiliary of the Toronto Diocesan Board, are also documented.
