This series consists of records accumulated by Mabel Cartwright as Lady Principal of St. Hilda’s College, including correspondence, administrative and financial records, reports and legal documents. Information about major changes MC oversaw during her tenure document the move of St. Hilda’s College from Queen Street to St. George Street and the realization of the new building on Devonshire Place. A handwritten history of the College, the Provost’s letter upon Mabel Cartwright’s resignation in 1936, some Saint Hilda’s College publications, and Women’s Auxiliary records are also included.
