Series documents Ward’s university education in Classics at the University of London, as well as some work at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, in the early 1940s. Documents contain workbooks, translations, assignments, and tests for Ward a class in “BA Honours, Classics.” Many assignments are marked by his instructors, and include comments and corrections. Many papers carry Ward’s embossed address: 305 Whitehorse Lane, London S.E. 25. Livingstone 3539.
