Scope and content

File consists of Rev. Ward’s sermon notes from the 1930s and 1940s, while he was still living and working in the United Kingdom. Most of the notes are handwritten, others are typewritten. Other supporting material exists in this file as well, including newspaper clippings and church bulletins.

The first three folders of material were originally bound with string.

The last two folders of material were originally housed in a postal envelope, which read “Notes, etc, for Sermons,” the front of which has been preserved and placed in the front of the fourth folder.
