Scope and content

This series consists of records pertaining to the 19th G7 Summit, which took place in Tokyo, Japan from July 7 to July 9, 1993. Records include major summit documents, minor summit documents, official documents of member countries, records relating to bilateral meetings, and records issued by non-member groups. This series also consists of transcripts of wire services, and newspaper and magazine clippings pertaining to G7 nations and various economic, environmental and political issues. Also included in this series are papers and articles by the G7 Research Group, and photographs from the Tokyo Summit. This series consists of audio recordings of press conferences, briefings, scrums, interviews, media broadcasts, and G7 Research Group meetings. Finally, this series includes a messenger bag collected at the Summit.
