Contains records from the Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) and its predecessor the Centre for Russian and East European Studies (CREES). Records include exchange program files for studies engaged in the Canada-USSR exchange, various CREES committee meeting minutes and agenda, Centre newsletters, promotional material, director's correspondence, graduate student information, faculty lists, visiting fellow lists, annual budgets and reports, and event files for many workshops, colloquium and seminars that were organized by the school. Also includes records of the Stalin-Era Research and Archives Project (SERAP), a SSHRC funded project seeking to stimulate the reinterpretation of politics and society in the USSR under Stalin through the use of newly declassified archival materials.
