        History

        George Westman (1898-1995), was born in Ottawa and attended Ottawa Collegiate. At the age of 16 he enlisted and served overseas for three years. He played football and rowed for the Argonauts in 1919 before entering Dentistry. At the University of Toronto he played hockey and rugby for five years and was captain of the rugby team in 1923. He graduated in Dentistry in 1924 and moved to Midland, Ontario. He died in Toronto in 1995.
