File consists of a memorandum for Nouwen from one of his administrative assistants with a message regarding Bill Reid (St. Michael's College, Toronto). Reid was requesting help from Nouwen in planning an alumni retreat in the fall of 1989. He needed help on planning the format and theme, and wished to speak with Nouwen on the telephone. Memo says that Nouwen could be reached in Winnipeg, but his schedule changed and would call Reid himself when he returned to L'Arche Daybreak in mid-July.
