  • Typed letter from André Antoine to Jacques Grétillat, dated «Camaret, 16 juillet 1913», on letterhead «Théâtre national de l’Odéon. Second théâtre français». By contract, Grétillat has to be ready to work on the Fête nationale. Antoine cannot accept his request of being compensated. Grétillat is threatening Antoine – Antoine is willing to let go of Grétillat if he is unhappy. Antoine appreciates Grétillat and tells him to talk to him directly if necessary.
  • Autograph letter from André Antoine to Jacques Grétillat, dated «Camaret, 10 décembre», on letterhead (crossed out) «28, Place Dauphine». Is glad to hear from Grétillat, who is not far from the front line. Antoine has tried to enrol in the army, but was turned down. Is in Camaret with his youngest son. Has a project, and will to Grétillat about it when the time comes.
  • Photocopies of letters from Antoine to Grétillat, with hand-written transcriptions by J. Sanders.
