The collection consists of specimens of lithographed labels from a variety of international hotels, parks, and transport companies from the late 1800s to World War Two. Among those printers represented are Richter, Trub and Brügger, and the collection contains examples by known artists of the genre such as Dan Sweeney, Jan Lavies, Erik Nitsche, Mario Borgoni, and J. Paschal.
Collection contains 3449 labels, which have been alphabetized by hotel name, and transportation company. Includes labels from 142 countries, provinces, and 44 American states. These labels were collected over a 25-year period by Jane Goodrich.
