File is missing the program for the NMC concert on October 20, 1979. The 1979-1980 concert season included the following performances:

  • Happy 20th birthday Canadian Music Centre (Walter Hall ; October 20, 1979)
  • A keyboard and computer spectacular with guest composers and performers Joel Chadabe, Roger Meyers, and David Gibson (Walter Hall ; November 24, 1979)
  • Guest composer Milton Babbitt (Walter Hall ; December 15, 1979)
  • Three world premieres by Kaikhorsu Shapurji Sorabji, James Tenney, and Bruce Mather (Walter Hall ; February 2, 1980)
  • Harrison Birtwistle and Morton Feldman (Walter Hall ; February 23, 1980)
  • Guest composer and performers : Philip Glass Ensemble (Walter Hall ; March 29, 1980)
  • Guest composer-conductor Witold Lutoslawski (MacMillan Theatre ; April 19, 1980).
