File consists of a draft typescript of "Hope for History", an address made at a meeting that was part of a conference at the Community of Celebration (Woodland Park, CO). The meeting consisted of more than 50 representatives from 11 Christian communities in the United States. This was a theological conference on how to make prayer more integral to their lives and ministry. Nouwen talks about the importance of community, prayer and resistance, and hope.
