        Father Georg Hüssler was born on July 7, 1921 in Einöd , Saarland, Germany and grew up in Elsass, France. Dr. Hüssler was the former Secretary-General and President of Caritas International, a post he held for 22 years from 1969 to 1991. He died on April 14, 2013 at the age of 91.
