File consists of handwritten, typed and annotated reading and lecture notes for two of Nouwen's courses on Pastoral Care. These materials are part of a bound volume of collected materials. Handwritten and typed reading notes and lecture notes for the 1967 course are located in the second section of the bound volume. This section contains extensive notes on Boisen and notes on a film on Carl Rogers and his client-centred therapy. Material relevant to the 1974 course is located in the third section of the bound volume, and includes typed, handwritten, and annotated lecture notes by Nouwen.
