In this letter, Mr. K. S. Sellatthurai has written the following resolution to be presented at the General Council meeting which will be held in Trincomalee on the 27th of January, 1963. After the detention of Tamil leaders in April 1961, the Srilankan government had attempted to cancel the uncultivated lands of the Tamil settlers in the Mudalikulam settlement. The Trincomalee Labor Co-operative Society was the one that paid for the lands and recovered it from the government. As a result, the party has decided to compensate the money to the Trincomalee co-operative society from the party's money. The treasurer of the party is empoared to implement this resolution. Also, there was a written on 27.01.63 side note saying that it was decided to pay Rs. 2000 oweing to Trincomalee money and the authority was assigned to Mr. Rajavarothayam.
