File consists of correspondence and research materials relating to Mason & Risch, a Canadian piano manufacturing firm established in 1871. Materials include correspondence from the German musicologist Dr. Günther Kraft (1961-1968) and copies of two documents:
- Letter from Franz Liszt to Mason and Risch endorsing their piano and referencing a portrait of himself painted by Baron Joukovsky, which he gifted to the company. The letter is dated November 10, 1882.
- "Eulogium" by Mr. T. C. Jeffers, Mus. Bac., inspired by the portrait, dated August 29, 1883.
File also includes a copy of Dr. Kraft's exhibition catalog "Liszt und Weimar : eine Dokumentar-Ausstellung anlässlich der Franz-Liszt-Ehrung 1961."
