File consists of handwritten notes by Nouwen entitled, "Waiting Patiently in Expectation in the Foundation of the Spiritual Life", "Psalm 62: Listening" and "Speaking". These are likely the preliminary notes for lectures Nouwen gave as a requirement for his Spring, 1983, position as the Horace De Y. Lentz Lecturer at Harvard Divinity School. It is also possible that Nouwen wrote these notes in preparation for his Lenten lecture series at the Champion Renewal Center (Weston, MA), in 1984.
