Series consists of manuscript scores and parts for expanded versions of Phil Nimmons' earlier compositions, arranged for jazz orchestra or big band (5 saxophones, 4 trumpet, 4 trombones, piano, guitar, bass, and drums). Many of these arrangements were created for the University of Toronto jazz orchestra that Nimmons' directed.
Files predominantly consist of the manuscript scores and parts for 5 saxophones; the remaining parts remained consistent with his earlier arrangements for Nimmons 'N' Nine Plus Six (clarinet, 3 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, piano, guitar, bass, and drums). Some charts include additional parts for French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba and/or auxiliary percussion.
